EXPLANATION TEXT

heyy.. today i want to tell u the example about explanation text

i hope u guys understand and enjoy...💓

EXPLANATION TEXT

WHAT IS AN EXPLANATION TEXT?

Explanation texts are frequently incorporated into other texts, used to provide information which answers questions of interest on that topicAn explanation text tells your audience how something works or why something happens.

Explanations detail and logically describe the stages in a process, such as the water cycle, or how a steam engine works.  Other examples could be how a law is made, or why we blink when we sneeze.

There are three types of explanations.

  • Causal - Details what causes the change from one stage to the next ie: How a president is elected.

  • Theoretical - Details the possible phenomena behind a natural or created process that is not fully understood. eg What caused the Nazi's to lose World War II.

  • Factorial and consequential explanations explain effects and outcomes of processes. They are more commonly used in upper primary and secondary contexts. For example:

    • Scientific– eg Explain the causes of climate change (Factorial)

    • Historical– eg Explain the causes of World War 2 (Factorial)

An explanation text is similar to a procedural text, and these can often be confused, however an explanation text explains the how and why behind a process  such as

  • What causes a Tsunami?

  • Why are our rain forests disappearing?

  • The process of making aluminum.

  • A procedural text is generally instructs how to make or do something such as recipe.  Although they appear similar they are very different when compared side by side

  • EXAMPLE
    .

  • Rainbow

Rainbow is one of the optical phenomenon that occurs naturally in the earth’s atmosphere. Physically, the colors commonly identified from the wavelengths. For example, the red color has a wavelength of about 625-740 nm, and blue around 435-500 nm. Set of colors that are expressed in wavelengths (usually symbolized by λ) is called the color spectrum. These colors are components of white light called visible light (visible light) or waves appear. Other components are not visible light (invisible light), such as infrared (on the right in red) and ultraviolet (on the left orange). White light that we usually see (also called visible light or visible light) consists of all components of the colors in the spectrum above – of course there are other components that are not visible, so-called invisible light.

The simplest tool that is often used to decipher the white color is a glass prism. A glass prism decompose white light coming into components of light. The prism of this nature not only can decipher light. Besides. Water droplets of rain is one example of the items available in nature that could decompose white light. When a beam of white light on a drop of water, these water droplets behave like a prism. He described the white light was so created the colors of the rainbow. A drop of water behave like prisms when receiving a beam of white light. Light is partially reflected towards the observer, some are forwarded. The colors in the rainbow-like blocks wide because we only see one color to the water droplets. Described sunlight by water droplets A only up to our eyes in the red color wavelength. Meanwhile, water droplets and provides a wavelength purple. Droplets of which give each one wavelength on our eyes. So in the end the viewer see a complete rainbow colors.

Rainbow usually occurs when rain or drizzle after heavy rain stopped. After the heavy rain stopped, the air filled with the vapors of water. Moreover, the rainbow can be created in a puddle of oil. Sometimes in certain circumstances, a beam of white light enveloped by a rainbow. Rainbow can occur anytime and anywhere in the home involves three well as the nature of light, the reflection (reflection), refraction (refraction), and diffraction.

We can only see a maximum of a half circle rainbow. To see the full rainbow of the circle, then we must stand on higher ground.

The illustrations in the picture above shows that the circular rainbow. It is true that the rainbow circle, instead of a parabola as some people. On the ground, we only see a maximum of a half circle rainbow. If we stand on the rain, for example, on an airplane, then we could see a rainbow circle intact. This is all caused by the optical geometry in the process of decomposition of color. With this optical geometry also we can explain the straight line that passes through our eyes and the sun also passes through the center point of the circle rainbow. Because rainbow created involving distance observer with water droplets, then the rainbow always move to follow the movement of the observer. It makes our distance with rainbow constant (same), in other words we could never approach the rainbow.

EXPOSITION TEXT

Hey guyss, welcome.. today i will show u about exposition text, hope u guys enjoy my

EXPOSITION TEXT

The Importance of Exercise

We all know that exercise is important in our daily lives, but we may not know why or what exercise can do for us. Here are some benefits of exercises.

Exercise increases energy levels. Exercise improves both the strength and the efficiency of your cardiovascular system to get the oxygen and nutrients to your muscles.  When your cardiovascular system works better everything seems easier and you have more energy for the fun stuff in life.

Exercise improves muscle strength.Staying active keeps muscles strong and joints, tendons and ligaments flexible, allowing you to move more easily and avoid injury. Strong muscles and ligaments reduce your risk of joint and lower back pain by keeping joints in proper alignment. They also improve coordination and balance.

Exercise can help you to maintain a healthy weight. The more you exercise, the more calories you burn.  In addition, the more muscle you develop, the higher your metabolic rate becomes, so you burn more calories even when you’re not exercising.  The result?  You may lose weight and look better physically which will boost your self-esteem.

Exercise improves brain function. Exercise increases blood flow and oxygen levels in the brain. It also encourages the release of the brain chemicals (hormones) that are responsible for the production of cells in the hippocampus, the part of the brain that controls memory and learning.  This, in turn, boosts concentration levels and cognitive ability, and helps reduce the risk of cognitive degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s.

NARRATIVE TEXT

Hey guys.. in this page i have something new for u all 💓

NARATIVE TEXT

Generic Structure of Narrative Text

As we know there are many kinds of text so in this occasion I want to share about Narrative Text. In this case I want to share about the function, generic structure and example of Narrative Text. The explanation is below.

Narrative text is an imaginative story to entertain people (imaginative narrative text is a story that aims to entertain people).

If you look at the English dictionary, literally meaningful of narrative :

  1. a spoken or written account of connected events of a story.
  2. the narrated part of a literary work, as distinct from dialogue.
  3. the practice or art of narration.

So it can be concluded that a narrative text is a text which contains a story either written or unwritten, and there is a series of connected events. and the social function is to entertain or amuse the reader or listener.

Generic Structure of Narrative Text :

  • Orientation: It is about the opening paragraph where the characters of the story are introduced
  • Complication: Where the problems in the story developed.
  • Resolution: Where the problems in the story is solved.

Sometimes the arrangement (generic structure) of narrative text can contain: Orientation, Complication, Evaluation, Resolution and Reorientation. Although the “Evaluation” and”Reorientation” is optional; may be added, and could not. Evaluation provides assessment /evaluation of the course of the story or conflict. While Reorientation contains content inference ending.

Language features of Narrative text :

  • Description of characters and places using:
Adjectives to describe nouns – heavy, frosty, transparent, grumpy
  • Adverbs – to describe verbs – quickly, secretly, quietly, energetically, suddenly
  • Similes – to compare one thing with another, using like or as … as – as bright as the moon, the kiss felt like a butterfly’s wings against her cheek
  • Time words – Once upon a time, long ago, then, last week
  • Verbs indicating actions in the story – hid, ate, ran, whispered, looked

Grammar (grammar) that often arise in making the narrative text are:

Using tenses Past, both simple, past perfect, past continuous, past perfect continuous, past or future could be continuous

EXAMPLE:

🐰Rabbit and Bear🐻

Once upon a time, there lived as neighbours, a bear and a rabbit. The rabbit is a good shot. In contrary, the bear is always clumsy ad could not use the arrow to good advantage.

One day, the bear called over the rabbit and asked the rabbit to take his bow and arrows and came with bear to the other side of the hill. The rabbit feared to arouse the bear's anger so he could not refuse it. He consented and went with the bear and shot enough buffalo to satisfy the hungry family. Indeed he shot and killed so many that there was lots of meat left after the bear and his family had loaded themselves and packed all they could carry home.

The bear was very gluttonous and did not want the rabbit to get any of the meat. The rabbit could not even taste the blood from the butchering as the bear would throw earth on the blood and dry it up. The poor rabbit would have to go home hungry after his hard day's work.

The bear was the father of five children. The youngest child was very kind to the rabbit. He was very hearty eater. The mother bear always gave him an extra large piece of meat but the youngest child did not eat it. He would take it outside with him and pretended to play ball with the meat. He kicked toward the rabbit's house and when he got close to the door he would give the meat with such a great kick. The meat would fly into the rabbit's house. In this way, the poor rabbit would get his meal unknown to the papa bear.

okay, i think that's all for the story, i hope u can get the moral of the story.
